Hi Everyone!
My 2017 has started GREAT. I made it my new year’s resolution to start implementing healthy habits into my daily life with the hopes to improve my overall health, fitness and productivity. So far so good. A big part of this resolution is improving my eating habits. Since I became vegan, I have considered myself a rather healthy eater in general but when I took a closer look in December 2016 of what I was eating, I noticed that there is still definitely a lot of room for improvement. My goal in life is to be a thriving healthy person and to live LONG healthy life, so its always a good time to strive to be even healthier.
Guys, I am proud of myself. The whole of January I have managed to keep up with these few dietary changes that I told myself I should try out:
- Cook at home
- Only eat out (or order in) 1-2 times a week
- Eat minimum amount of gluten ( 1 -2 times a week + my oat meal is not gluten free so there might be something in there 😉 )
- Eat as nutritiously as possible. (I now tip in a food diary in a chronometer 1-3 times a week just to make sure I am getting optimal amount of nutrition.)
- Eat less fats and stay away from oils. ( I incorporate healthy fats into my diet in the mornings)
So far so good and guys, and I am telling you. I already FEEL a difference and I even see a bit of ab definition ;).
To see what I typically eat in a day to keep up with my healthy eating habits watch the video below. Remember that everyday is different for me. I do not count calories. I eat until I feel full.
Thank you so much for watching! If you have any questions do not hesitate to ask me and also let me know what healthy eating habits you are incorporating in your daily life.
Lots of LOVE,
Kia
