I hear there are many upon many health benefits you can get from a little root called turmeric. I know I have to do a little bit more research on it before I can say too much but I think I can feel safe to say that when taken on a regular basis it can help prevent illness and disease. How awesome is that?
I like to put Turmeric in my morning porridge and in indian food, but this golden milk is one of my absolute favourite ways to get a bit of turmeric in. Especially when feeling sick, I will drink many cups of this gold.
In the video below I am sharing my version of the recipe, but to be honest you can just go with the flow and be creative. One thing I hear is that turmeric needs to consumed with black pepper and fat (e.g. coconut oil or nut milks) in order for the turmeric’s magic powers to work like they should 😉
